Terrace at the National Museum of Prehistory in Les-Eyzies-de-Tayac by Beausoleil Star this if you like it!

Clinging to the side of a cliff, the museum opens onto the Valley of the river Vézère, called the "Valley of the Man, a World Heritage Site. It documents 400,000 years of history with exhibits, both still and interactive, and demonstrations of flint knapping, movies and photographs. There is the famous Cro Magnon Man Statue on the outdoor terrace along with views of the magnificent valley of the river Vézère and the town nestled below. If you are in the area visiting caves, this is a must-see.
