Eglise Notre Dame de Nanteuil in Montrichard by Beausoleil Star this if you like it!

The church is dedicated to Notre-Dame and is a place of pilgrimage. Built starting in the 12th century as a parish church. It supposedly lost this status to Eglise Saint Croix, next to the dungeon. Whatever it is, it is a busy and vibrant parish of very friendly people. We always attend there when we're in the area and have always been warmly welcomed. We've seen the Bishop at a First Communion service there and these hand horn (cor de chasse) players for a baptism in this photo. The young people seem very engaged in the parish activities. It is also a lovely church inside.
