You start above ground level looking down and gradually descend through the museum until you end up here at water level. The two ladies in Roman costume will be happy to answer questions . . . or even to tease you a bit. At the museum, there are free audio guides available in 17 languages. The first shrine here was built by the Celts and it has been adopted by the Romans and then the British who have all added their improvements. This is all detailed on the audio guide.
