These children's cots are in the old kindergarten in Pripyat, the closest town to the Chernobyl nuclear reactor. The town was abandoned in the days after the nuclear reactor accident in April 1986.

We did not enter the building since entering any building there in strictly forbidden today (or at your own risk)...The buildings are gradually falling apart...
