Place des Vosges is the oldest and arguably the most beautiful square in Paris. Cardinal Richelieu had an equestrian bronze of Louis XIII erected in the Place des Vosges where it still stands today. Cardinal Richelieu lived at no. 21 from 1615 to 1627. The Maison Victor Hugo is at no. 6.
