Did you know a male support column is called an Atlantes by Beausoleil Star this if you like it!

A Caryatid is a female figure used as an architectural support in place of a pillar. The male equivalent is an Atlantes such as the ones seen here on the Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin, theatre and opera house at 18, Boulevard Saint-Martin in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. They were showing a play by Joël Pommerat at the time of the photo. You see the female caryatids all over Paris, but the male ones are unusual.
