Musée d'Orsay in Paris - Crowds by Beausoleil Star this if you like it!

The museum is the former Gare d'Orsay, a Beaux-Arts railway station built between 1898 and 1900. It holds mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1914, including paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photography. When you go to Paris looking for the Impressionists, this is the place to go. The other Paris musum holding a great catalog of Impressionists is the Marmottan-Monet in the 16th arrondissement. Both are not to be missed. The Orsay also has special exhibits and they are always excellent . . . and very crowded.
