Sculpture "Les Joies de la Famille" by Horace Daillion by Beausoleil Star this if you like it!

The Luxembourg Gardens are located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, created beginning in 1612 by Marie de' Medici, the widow of King Henry IV of France, for a new residence she constructed, the Luxembourg Palace. The gardens are filled with sculpture, formal and informal gardens, activities for children and adults, a large pond, fountains and the French Senat. You can always find something to do in the gardens from free concerts on Sundays to marvelous art exhibits in the Luxembourg Museum. We've seen Tai Chi and chess, pony rides for children, several of the concerts, kids sailing boats on the pond, tennis, joggers galore and several playgrounds and summer puppet shows.
