Statues in niches at 46 rue Jacob by Beausoleil Star this if you like it!

We walked from the Luxembourg Museum where we visited an exhibit past and through the Marché Poésie and followed a favorite route through Paris to the restaurant we had chosen for our 55th anniversary luncheon. Five years earlier we rented an apartment in the area and this was a familiar walk as we had made it many times before. We passed the Fontaine l'Embâcle that looks like a broken sidewalk at Place du Québec across from Les Deux Magots where we noted additional terrace seating had been added and Église Saint-Germain. We stopped to admire Le Prométhée by Ossip Zadkine and then walked down rue Bonaparte to rue Jacob noticing sculptures in upper story niches. We found the beautiful door knocker on rue de l'Université and then wound our way to rue Verneuil where we arrived at our favorite restaurant in Paris.
