The Conciergerie is a Gothic, riverside fortress and French Revolution prison that holds Marie Antoinette's former cell. The tour includes a visit to her cell. The bell tower has a magnificent clock that was restored in 2012 and looks new although it was the first public clock in Paris in 1370.
