Listed as a Historic Monument, the Château de Saint-Germain-de-Livet is located 10 minutes from Lisieux. Surrounded by moats where majestic swans sail, this architectural gem includes a half-timbered manor from the 15th century and a checkerboard construction of stones and glazed bricks from Pré d'Auge from the end of the 16th century. The museum contains the furniture and collections of the family who donated the estate to the city of Lisieux in 1958.
