Château de Martainville - Interior by Beausoleil Star this if you like it!

The Château de Martainville contains the Musée des Traditions et Arts Normands, has a lovely garden and is beside the beautiful Eglise Notre Dame de la Paix et Saint-Joseph. There are furniture, clothes, ceramics and everyday objects that date back to between 15th-century and 19th-century Normandy gathering an exceptional collection recounting the history of the local popular arts and traditions. Today, fifteen thousand artefacts are permanently or temporarily exhibited in the museum and the outbuildings. It is a part of the French Vexin Regional Natural Park that preserves the heritage of the Ile-de-France Region, the Departments of Val d'Oise and Yvelines.
