Église Saint-Valery de Varengeville-sur-Mer - Paintings by Michel Ciry by Beausoleil Star this if you like it!

The abstract blue stained glass window was designed by Raoul Ubac, a friend of Georges Braque. The large painting of Christ the Redeemer is by Michel Ciry, a gift to the church in 1998. In 2009 M. Ciry offered the two paintings that flank it. There is an amazing column with carving inspired by sea voyages and one with a spiral of ropes and scallop shells. On the altar is a tabernacle designed by Braque and the Tree of Jesse window is by Braque who is buried in the churchyard.
