Abbaye Sainte-Marie d'Arles-sur-Tech - the Cloisters by Beausoleil Star this if you like it!

This is a beautiful Abbey in Arles-sur-Tech and known for its iron work. There is a beautiful iron-work cross in the cloisters. A Benedictine abbey, built in 778, the Sainte Marie abbey is the oldest Carolingian abbey of Catalonia. The Roman church has three naves, a large 18th century Schmidt organ, and the gothic cloister from the 13th century is next to the church. In the church courtyard, a 4th century sarcophagus has been mysteriously secreting clear water since the time Saint Abdon and Saint Sennen’s relics were put there. Considered a miracle, it is the site of many pilgrimages. We saw it and we couldn't explain it.
