I was in Kotor. I hated it. Really hated it. Felt trapped and the noise was unbearable, amplified by the walls of the fjord. The water was oily and polluted and dangerous to swim in anyway because of the water traffic. The town is pretty, but a tourist trap in the truest sense of the word, cos once you're in, it's a long and arduous climb to get out. Helen
