I'm happily single, childfree by choice, and thanks to my small business that I've been running for 6 years, I now have the financial freedom to satisfy my itchy feet! After attending Burning Man in Nevada in 2008 and 2010 I am determined now to see as much of the world as possible - and NOT in a tacky touristy way, but in a way that lets me see the REAL country, not what the tour operators WANT you to see.

• Hobbies:

  I am a sci fi costumer and posess a full set of Star Wars Sandtrooper armour, and a movie accurate Ghostbuster outfit and Proton pack (www.tk2441.co.uk). I am a member of the 501st Legion, a worldwide costuming club and I attend events all over the UK, from corporate or celebrity events down to kids school fetes.

  I love WW2 aviation, XBox, Sci fi films, gardening, motorsport, nature, and warm summer evenings. I am an open water diver and would also like to learn to kite surf and snowboard.

• Favourite places:

  Black Rock City (Burning Man), Western Australia, Lake Tahoe in the summer, the Norfolk countryside in summer, the remote highlands of Scotland, anywhere that isn't near tourist trach towns and screaming children. A misty wood in the early morning, an open lake or beach in the sunset, an cascade of waterfalls in a rainforest, any scenery that takes my breath away.
