I am retired, an active international traveller, like sport, gardening and have a large orchid collection. Often travel to South East Asia with fellow Orchid Society members to attend Orchid Shows and enjoy sightseeing throughout Asia.

During 2016 we made 3 overseas trips, the first being to Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Hong Kong and Bangkok.
Our second trip was to Europe during June / July (30 days) and included London, Cornwall, then to Paris, a 7 day river cruise to Arles in Southern France, Monte Carlo and then Milan, Italy for 5 nights.
Our third trip was during November, this time back to Asia for 7 days in Kota Kinabalu , Malaysia then onto Sandakan and the Borneo adventure 4 day tour which was fantastic.
I have been an active contributor on Virtual Tourist since 2005, and have recorded many of our overseas and Australian trips.

2017 itinerary yet to be decided! The world has much to offer!

• Hobbies:

  Swimming, Gym, Orchid cultivation, photography, gardening, lawn bowls.

• Favourite places:

  Most European destinations, in particular Italy, France, Spain, St Petersburg. Most Asian destinations. Enjoyed our visit to Canada.
  Would love to visit India.

  We have not visited South America, hopefully we will visit soon.
