• Alaska CruiseTour 2009 - Allen, Katherine, and Anna visit Alaska!
• End-of-Summer Celebration in Scandinavia - Working through our bucket list of hoped-for trips, we came across a good cruise-based tour which would give us an introduction to Scandinavia in general, and Norway in particular.
• Spring Break in South America! - Our annual Spring Break trip this year was a little different than usual. Rather than strike out on our own, we elected to give a tour a try. Most of that decision was driven by our choice of Ecuador as a destination.
• Iberian Express - This was our summer vacation and, truth be told, we can't recall how we finally decided to visit Portugal and Spain. Portugal had remained the last big country in Europe which we collectively had not visited, and K has always wanted to visit Barcelona.
• Spring Break 16 - Adriatic to the Alps - Our Spring Break trip this year was a tour to several now-independent republics from the former Yugoslavia, and included an all-too-short return visit to Vienna after 13 years.
• A Summer Blast in the Baltics! - When we did our cruise to Norway, we chose between that trip and a similarly timed one to the Baltics. It worked out this year that we were able to schedule that trip and begin scratching our itch to visit the Baltics and, in particular, see Russia again.
• Our Asian Escapade! - ..
• San Francisco, National Parks, and Napa - Here's the blog on our 2010 Spring Break trip. After watching the Ken Burns' documentary last fall, we got the itch to visit Yosemite. That quickly grew to include an ambitious itinerary of San Francisco; Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia Parks.
• Daddy/Daughter End-of-Summer Blowout!!! - Anna and I decided to take a daddy-daughter vacation over the last week of summer vacation. Katherine and her mom had planned a tour in England over the same period, so we decided a little Cruise action was in order.
• West Caribbean Cruise from New Orleans - Spring Break Trip 2011. Booked a week-long western Caribbean cruise aboard the Norwegian Spirit, out of New Orleans. Built in some time in New Orleans before we left, and visited four cruise ports along the way.
• Glacier National Park & Canadian Rockies - Extended family vacation through multiple state, national, and provincial parks in August 2011.
• Spring Break 2012 -- Scotland! - It's hard to believe, but another Spring Break has come and gone. This time we hit our long-desired destination of Scotland, with the added bonus of mom/mother-in-law/grandma Jane joining us for the highland festivities.
• Deutschland 2012 - This was our extended family trip to Germany, where we visited even more family.
• Spring Break 2013 -- South Africa! - Our annual Spring Break trip this year was our furthest sojourn to date. "Trip of a lifetime" is a short, and apt, summation.
• Visit to the Holy Land Over Holy Week - As has become tradition in the Steele house, we took a family trip over Spring Break and I am going to try and capture the highlights and some photos, so that we'll have these memories for years to come.
