I'm the lucky wife of a pharmacist/Star Wars geek and mother of a 9-year-old that can quote the crap out of Family Guy. After 4 years as Senior Editor of an international online travel company and living in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles, I moved back to my home town to be near family. I have recently delved into the world of freelance writing.

• Hobbies:

  I enjoy seeing new places and hiking with my family. I am also a fan of good beer and am talented at sniffing out the best breweries and pubs in the places I travel. I collect vinyl records (primarily classic rock and punk). And of course, I am addicted to reading and writing.

• Favourite places:

  My favorite places so far are San Francisco, Amsterdam, New York and Barcelona. I enjoy places with a lot of history and a unique culture. As an avid hiker, I also love the forests of Northern California.
