Born in California, grew up in Sydney (Australia), and now reside in Ohio. Travel has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, As a kid, my father worked from Qantas, so flying across the Pacific to visit extended family in the USA happened about every other year. Travels with family included visiting other parts of Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Japan, China, Kenya, and Russia.

I've lived in Ohio most of my life with the exception of the years in Australia and a decade in the Seattle area. Travel is still an important part of my life. While my job as an accountant for the US Defense Department does not give me the chance to travel for work, it does provide the financial resources and sufficient vacation time so I can pursue that goal.

I've seen every US state and made it to about 80% of the counties across the country. Travel outside the USA is also something I try to do when possible. Recent trips include London and Paris, the Caribbean, and Greece.

I'm eager to get out and see more of the world soon.
