I am a divorced single mother of one awesome kid. I have always loved to travel and my son has always shared my sense of adventure. He has turned out to be a great travel companion and much of the joy in travel comes from seeing the world through his eyes as well as my own. This blog and title was his idea. Although he is now grown and out working, I hope we will travel together again but for now...it's just my adventures.

I also love to write and take photographs. What started as an attempt to keep family and friends in the loop while I was traveling has turned into an email blog of sorts. With so many followers now, it is becoming a little unmanageable so I thought I'd try out a blog site.

I love sharing the stories and bringing this beautiful world closer to those who are not as blessed as I with my ability to travel or who prefer to travel from their couch.

  Traveling, reading, cooking, photography and writing.

  Vietnam, Cambodia, Turkey, Prague, New York City, Shanghai and Florida for my annual girl's trip:)
