I am a "semi retired" consultant who has traveled quite a bit with family and for work. My husband is a retired engineer. Our goal throughout our adult life was to save for retirement, retire early and travel as much as we can. I "unofficially" retired at 57 and my husband at 59. I took up consulting as a retirement gig and love that I can take as much time off as I want between projects to do what I want.
