I am originally from Scotland, but have lived in Hong Kong for the last twenty-five years. I am a primary school teacher, currently teaching children aged five, six and seven in an international school. As well as living in Hong Kong, I have also lived and worked in Finland, Austria, Turkey, Cyprus, Poland and Malta. I was an active member of Virtual Tourist prior to it being closed down. I have travelled in five continents and would like to visit them all if I can.

Hobbies:
I love travelling, swimming, reading, photography, hiking, history and nature.
Favourite places:
Japan, Austria and Canada are some of the countries I have enjoyed most. I also really enjoyed visiting South Africa, which had some of the loveliest scenery I have ever experienced. New Zealand was another place where the scenery was amazing. I really enjoy exploring Eastern Europe, too.

The only way to get something done is to do it.
