When I was 7 my parents moved my family to an island in Micronesia for a year, which was of the "remote" variety. Little did I know at the time that this would cause a crack-like addicition to travel later in life.

In 2003-04, I spent a year traveling (6 months living, working and skiing in NZ) Tahiti-Cook Islands-Fiji-New Zealand-Australia-Argentina-Chile-Uruguay-Brazil and Panama. In 2005 I returned to South America to visit Peru and Bolivia.

The fall of 2006, took me to Southeast Asia, focusing on Malaysian Borneo and Myanmar.

I recently completed two years of teaching English in South Korea. During my time thus far, I also traveled to Japan and China and recently spent 6 weeks trekking in Nepal. In February, 2010 I signed on for another year of teaching (my third) in Korea.

Skiing, traveling, hiking, whitewater kayaking, fly fishing
Favourite places:
Myanmar just jumped to the front of the list, absolutely loved it there. Bario in the Kelabit Highlands of Sarawek, Borneo. Other favorites include Nepal, Japan, Argentina, Peru, Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific.
