About @leafturner

Most of you know me as Michelle, but Rainer (husband) and Haley (daughter) commonly refer to me as the Leaf Turner. This title was hard earned by stopping to look at, under, over and behind pretty much anything, pretty much anywhere, but most notably on our crazy vacations. We love to travel and the more different/challenging the better. My husband and I realized that we weren't getting any younger, or tougher. So, this year, Rainer and I decided it was a good time to leave our jobs to spend a year travelling and volunteering in Africa and Asia. I created this blog to help document this exciting opportunity and to share with anyone interested.
