Over the years I've had alot of adventures in alot of countries: Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Phillipines, Malaysia, France, Ireland, England (where I lived for 4 years), Scotland, Holland, Germany, Czech Rep, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, USA, Canda, Nepal, China, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, New Zealand and Australia!

I've obviously been born with the bug but why not just continue to travel during my work holidays? Why would someone with a good career, well paid job, nice home, new car, and a comfortable lifestyle on the Australian coast want to give it all up? Am I crazy? Am I having a thrisis? Well, maybe, but I did it anyway ... I quit my job, rented out my house and sold my car. I crammed all my possessions into a backpack, said tearful farewells to family and friends, and set off on my "adventure of a lifetime".

I often hear "Aren't you brave" or "I'd love to do that". Well, my advice is that life's short and your only obstacle is you so get out there.... the world is big and there are still a lot of countries on my "to visit" list. I've been introduced to some fascinating new places & cultures, and sometimes to some pretty strange lifestyles & customs. I've seen how other people live - the good, the bad, and the ugly - and I've realized how truly blessed and absolutely privileged my life has been. I've changed, travel does that to a person, and I like who I've become. It's been an amazing journey of discovery - both about others and about myself.
