Since the travelbug caught me when I was 19 I have backpacked through North- and Southamerica, Australia, New Zealand and (Southeast-)Asia and have also been to lots of countries in Europe. Travelling is my greatest passion! But until I can head off again, I'm truly enjoying my time with my family in Berlin!

"Once you start, all you can think of is being a waitress in a Paris bistro, writing a novel in Melbourne, drinking Gin & Tonic in a bar in New York, climbing a volcano in South America or lying on a sunny Aruban beach. Once you begin, you are no longer afraid to go for it. And if you could afford it, you would throw aside all your responsibilities and go where the wind would take you. You could easily be talked into catching the first plane to Laos and selling beads on the street. Or at least you believe this now. And this is it: the feeling of excitement about somewhere foreign..."
